Lionel Urban
CEO

Lionel Urban serves as the business unit manager for Fiserv’s PCLender loan origination system. In this role, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction and the vision behind the technology development of the company. Prior to joining Fiserv, Lionel was a co-founder, president and CEO of PCLender.com®, Inc. from 1997 to 2011 and again from 2014 through 2017. During this time, he supervised the development of a pioneering, Internet-based mortgage technology platform supporting banks, credit unions and mortgage companies across the country. Since 1987, Lionel has acquired vast mortgage banking experience in management, origination, operations, secondary marketing and compliance roles within banks, credit unions, and independent mortgage bankers.

David Faulkner
Chief Technology Officer

David Faulkner is responsible for PCLender’s system architecture and product design. Faulkner has diligently focused his expertise to enhance the PCLender LOS platform’s capabilities and functionality to go above and beyond industry best practices, regulatory standards, and an evolving mortgage banking environment.

He brings more than 25 years of experience with software development and relational database programming. From 1987 through 1994, he worked as a consultant specializing in high-end relational database solutions. Faulkner was instrumental in creating the PCLender LOS software product leading to the company’s incorporation in 1999. He has co-authored a book on Delphi programming and contributed to two books on Borland’s (Embacardero’s) Paradox Language. He has also published numerous magazine articles and made many speaking appearances on Paradox and Delphi applications.

Craig Evans
Director, Client Experience

Craig’s 30+ year career includes senior roles in operations, risk management, and loan production with leading US Banks, Including Bank of America, Washington Mutual, Fleet National Bank, and First National Bank of Chicago. Craig joined PCLender from Ally Bank, where he served as the Mortgage Executive accountable for the entire B2B and B2C go-to-market, including strategy, operating model, lead generation, customer acquisition, pricing and revenue growth. Prior to Ally, Craig was Chief Operating Officer of First Reliance Bank, a publicly traded South Carolina Community Bank.  Craig brings unique perspective to his role at Fiserv as he was a client of PCLender in each of his last two roles.

In this role, Craig will help to deepen customer relationships and expand Professional and Client Management services.  Furthermore, Craig will seek opportunities to partner with leading vendors to augment PCLender LOS capability and provide increased value for our clients.

Aurea Lucas
Director Application Management

Aurea Lucas has over 20 years of mortgage banking operations and technology experience and serves as PCLender’s Director of Application Management.  She oversees new Client implementations, Training, Business Analyst Team. Quality Assurance and is responsible for establishing system table defaults.  Before her tenure here, Aurea served as a COO for First California Mortgage, a regional Mortgage Banker.  Prior to that she was the Managing Director for GMAC-RFC.  As Managing Director at GMAC-Rescap, Aurea was responsible for the design and management of automated process solutions and policies that increased volume, customer service levels and productivity through technology.   She exemplifies commitment and consummate professionalism by consistently focusing on timely and quality deliverables.

Nic Siemer
Manager Client Support

As Client Support Manager, Nic Siemer is charged with leading a team of support and account reps to deliver the required support services effectively and efficiently to ensure clients are maximizing the value of PCLender products and services to become “High Functioning” mortgage bankers. He spearheads programs that support PCLender clients’ achievement of quality mortgage lending benchmarks, including user and administrator support, video-based training and support collateral, and account management.

Prior to his appointment as Client Support Manager, he held the Account Manager position for four years, providing a solid and consistently growing knowledge base relative to PCLender products and services, and honing client service skills by managing and supporting clients nationwide. Siemer facilitated issue resolution, case management, software training, and relationship development while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Siemer gained a great deal of insight into the mortgage banking industry through previous roles with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Private Mortgage Banking Associate, at Island Title Corporation as Escrow Assistant to the Senior VP, and at Washington Mutual Home Mortgage as a Post-Closing Coordinator.

Nicole Valentin-Smith
Director, Client Management

Nicole Valentin-Smith’s 25 year career in financial services includes Executive and Senior Leadership roles within both Banks and Credit Unions. A driven professional skilled in designing and executing strategies that generate profitable growth, she transitioned to the technology segment of financial services and joins Fiserv from Mortgage Cadence, an Accenture Company, where she served as the Vice President, Lending Solutions accountable for the go-to-market strategy and revenue growth for mid-markets. Prior to Mortgage Cadence, Nicole was the Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President Lending at Xceed Financial, a nationwide organization. Nicole is a seasoned sales executive with a successful track record in building and evolving consultative sales cultures and she is passionate about inspiring commitment and cooperation internally, with clients and business partners.
In this role, Nicole will build strategic alliances across Fiserv to position our mortgage origination solution as a core product offering, and develop and execute Sales and Marketing strategies that drive top line revenue growth and create awareness in the mortgage industry.

Jeremy Vierra
Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

Jeremy Vierra brings more than 17 years of IT management experience to the PCLender management team. Jeremy manages the production environment, as well as all internal and external systems with an overall focus on data integrity and security, in addition to systems’ scalability. He has engineered two data center locations, implementing a redundant environment for use as a disaster recovery center. He also established and maintains the Disaster Recovery/Business Resumption Plan and compliance audits, such as the SSAE 18 SOC 1 audit. Jeremy chairs the company’s IT Infrastructure Planning Committee, ensuring prioritization of growth and system stability. Before his tenure with PCLender, he was employed by Memco Systems, a Hawaii-based technology consulting company, where he custom-designed databases for a multitude of customers and provided technology support for hardware, software, and networking issues. Jeremy graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
